如果时光倒流几十年，在旧北京城的大街小巷，人们经常可以听到商贩叫卖的各种吆喝声。如今，这些清脆的叫卖声大多已经淹没在都市的喧嚣中，但听一听萧乾的，依旧能引发我们无尽的遐思。
教师借助录音、录像等媒体播放一些街头叫卖的吆喝声，增加学生的听觉、视觉方面对“吆喝”的了解。
作者简介：
萧乾（1910～）原名萧丙乾，蒙古族。北京人。作家、记者、翻译家。早年毕业于燕京大学。曾任《大公报》编辑、记者，伦敦大学讲师，《大公报》驻英特派员。1946年回国后，历任复旦大学教授、《人民中国》（英文）副总编辑，《文艺报》副总编辑、中央文史馆馆长。

七、教学反思
本单元的数字、衣服类单词较多，刚开学不久学生还懒于记忆单词，人名所有格和复数的表示法容易混淆。Whose与who’s的区别与应用有待巩固。
